Yesterday I finally wrote a speech (for Speech (WOOT!))! It's entitled "Some of the MANY Perplexing Conundrums (In My Life)." I'm planning to write another one today. Well actually, I'm planning on having a speech writing marathon these last few days of break. I'll try to find some way to get them on this web site.

Oh ya, and speaking of speech writing I just remembered. I'm planning on writing a speech where I'm going to argue with myself, and I need some random topic to start it, so I'm going to need you guys to give me some suggestions to choose from. Make them as random or stupid as you want. In fact, that would help make it more funny. Your cooperation will be appreciated.

Here's a few topics:
"Does talking to plants do anything to improve their health?"
"Where does the dentist go when he leaves you alone?"
"Why do people always mispronounce "Geoffery?"
OH! And here's a tip for future creative ex. peices. DO NOT WRITE A SPEECH PEICE ABOUT SPEECH! It may seem like a great idea, but everyone does it, belive it or not, and the judges hate it. So unless you REALLY know what you're doing, DO NOT WRITE A SPPECH PEICE ABOUT SPEECH.
Oh, and if your piece is allready typed, you can just copy and paste it, but if you handwrote it... you're gonna have to type the whole thing on here.

1. No, that's proposterous. 2. Somewhere. I haven't thought of that at all, but it's a fairly good question. 3. Because (unfortunatly (for me)) that's how most people with the name "Geoffrey" pronounce it (even though it's wrong). 4. Thank you! I wasn't planning on writing one about speech, but that's a very nice tid-bit. 5. I typed it, so I can just copy and paste.

But, let me bring up Michael, who went to state with a piece about Speech.

I brought up that point to Mr. Davidson, actually. He said that he was AMAZED he got that far with his topic. I never read his peice, but is must've been pretty damn good to get past the judges on that note.

I never knew that was what his piece was about. Then again, I never heard anything about his speech to begin with. I'm not sure who I'd be practicing with. Off the top of my head I'd probably say Purvis, 'cause I don't see her that often anymore, and I see Johnson an a regular basis, but I think I'll end up practicing with both of them.

(Speaking of Michael) That reminds me of something. He's the only upper classmen that I know of that's in C.Ex., so unless there's someone else, I'll probably end up following him around when I don't know where to go this year. If there's some one else, please correct me on that. I only hope that I don't bother any one when I have to follow others on where to go.

I don't know. Kerry Powers usually does C.X, but Michael is better at it.

Well, at least I know somebody else who is in c.x., and Eli and Jac, it would be nice if you would contribute something for a topic to start off my speech where I argue with myself, I'm planning on writing that tommarrow, and it's the one I'm (hopfully (if it turns out good)) planning on doing this year.

How about "Why Schools Should Have a Stricter Teacher Hiring Policy"? How did Gove get in, anyway?

this is like... the 2nd time you've double posted yourself.
and you could do "Why is the Minneapolis Airport wasteing a perfectly good oppertunity to make money in the tourisim industry by cementing off the bathroom where the republican senator was caught... "wide stancing" someone?"

First, I agree with with Becca on the double posting thing, it's getting kinda weird.
Anyway, thank you, those were some good ones, but I can't shake the fact that Eli didn't suppy any ideas. Oh well, he just won't get thanked.

The posting thing happens when the internet says "Page Cannot be Displayed" so I have to click post reply again. Thats how that happened.
