I was bored one day while walking in the woods, so I thought this up. Enjoy!
It was cold and dark when Delata Ironrasp awoke from his slumber. This cold this early? Nonsense he thought. Delata threw on his attire(green pants, black shirt, red jacket, and yellow nightcap)and headed out of his tent. Being the leader of the Ironrasp Alchemist Clan is hard these days. He took his Moonbolt Scepter in hand and prepared for another boring day. The scepter itself was quite a sight to behold. The main body was made from purple granite, and at the head was a large alchemical crystal in the shape of a cresent moon with a starburst of lightning in the middle. The scepter was used by Delata as a catalyst for his alchemy, giving off the illusion of magic. At his side was the sheath containing his Dragonslayer, a short sickle-sword made of metoric metal with a simple rosewood hilt. Delata had used this blade to kill a Lightning Dragon, in turn giving the blade its power. Delta ran a hand through his light brown hair, and sighed. "Good morning Delata!" yelled his two guards. One was an older girl; tall and lithe, and carrying a katana and a longsword. the other was a girl about in her early teens carrying an oversized claymore. They looked rather similar, with the only major differences being their outfit (the older one wore a long red gown (pretty much a cloack and jacket fused together) and black pants and shirt while the younger one wore the armor of a Clanknight (purpleish armor covering the torso and the front of the thighs) along with emerald pants and shirt) and thier hair (the older having long, brown hair while the younger had medium length copper hair). "Good morning, Elsa, Mari," Delata mumbled. He disliked his guards. Its not that they were bad people, it was just that they annoyed the lights out of him. Delata still found himself sleeping standing up. "Clanlord, the leader of Reitera (the country that Delata and his clan inhabited) has sent messengers, and they would like a word with you," Elsa (the older one) informed him. "This early?" Delata questioned, "I thought there was some sort of lawish thing saying they had to come after everyone wakes up." "Clanlord, you just made that up!" Mari exclaimed. Delata waved his hand in a circle (his sign for whatever). I think some huge storm's coming Delta thought to himself.
More to Come!

Alright, if any of you were confused by that, here's some more stuff about the world Delata and co. inhabit.
Magic - Magic is thought to not exist, however, in the desert there is a ruler (Chelsea) who can use magic with glass as a catalyst. By vreaking the glass, she releases the innate power inside of it, which she can bend to her will. Kinda similar to alchemical crystal, with the only difference being alchemical crystal has one set effect.
Adderbirds - Intelligent flightless bird that inhabit the forests of Reitera. Although flightless, they can glide short distances, and are very fast runners. The lord of Reitera has never thought of them as anything more than beasts. The Ironrasp Clan, however, has strong diplomatic ties to them. The birds act as mounts for the Ironrasp cavalry, if the clan was ever to go into battle.
Countries - The various regions of the world, each ruled by one person. The countries are as follows:
The Sovereign of Reitera - The grassland and forested country in the middle of the world. Ruler is unkown. Known for its exporting of food and lumber.
The Kingdom of Ganniah - A dark wasteland that is Reitera's southeastern neighbor. Salamander-beasts rule the upper land, but the cities, all under ground, are ruled the the Black Knight Gamna, who wears a mask all the time. Gamna uses a giant double sided scythe as his Dragonslayer, which killed an Ice Dragon. The cities are very rich, and the land is rich with minerals.
The Island Commonwealth of Esillo - The frigid northern island, across the northern sea frm Reitera. Considered by many as having one of the most beautiful capitals in the world, even having a castle made from ice that never melts. The ruler is King Epsis, who is known as a wise ruler. Epsis wields a two-handed sword as his Dragonslayer, which is infused with a Darkness Dragon. Esillo exports various materials collected from the animals in the area.
The Desert Domain of Helcleas - An arid desert south of Reitera. While not having many cities, it's capital is rumored to be covered in gems and gold. And it floats (at least most of it does, except for the ground level). The ruler of this kingdom is the legendary soceress, Chelsea. Although she has no Dragonslayer, she is one of the few people with the ability to use magic (the rest reside in her kingdom). Hecleas does not export anything.
And more to come when I think of them.
Dragonslayer - A dragonslayer is a weapon the has killed a dragon. dragons are regared as symbols of strength and wisdom, and to kill one is a huge challenge. A Dragonslayer strengthens the weapon, and allows the wielder to manipulate the element that the dragon used. Example: Delta's Dragonslayer is infused with a lightning dragon, allowing him to manipulate electricity and stuff like that. Most ruler have a Dragonslayer.
Alchemy - Alchemy is an ancient art that allows the user to do one of three things. 1. It allows the user to create potions of various effects to aid them or hinder their enemies. 2. It allows the user to infuse energy into alchemical crystals, allowing them to release that energy any time by breaking the crystal. 3. The Ironrasp Clan uses alchemical crystal to "store" their ancient towers. The crystal acts as a seed and the tower "grows" by rearranging the construction of the building it was placed in when activated. Most alchemists works solo or are in an Alchemist clan, like the Ironrasp clan.

Delata took his time going to the messenger, checking that all the workers were on task, admiring the beautiful scenery of the morning, and generally wasting time. "Clannlord, I don't believe it is wise to tarry too long, the messengers don't have all the time in the world," Elsa informed him. "Well, I wouldn't take so much of my sweet time getting here if he didn't wake me up," Delata replied tiredly, "I was having some epic dreams." The three reached the exit of the encampment. The messenger stood before them. He was tall, yet plump man with an absurdly long mustache and thick beard. His hair was receding, and of a light blond color. "I bear a message for you from the lord of Reitera. He says that since he has decided to go to war, you products will no longer be sold to us, they will be given," the messenger said flatly. "Is he insane? Doesn't he know we need the money he pays for our creations?" Delata raged. "You will start by giving your first shipment to me and the men in the cart on the edge of the road," the courier replied with the same flat tone he had used before. He motioned to the wagon Delata had missed from his trance of half-sleep and rage. "You must think I am a fool, to allow something like this to happen. Go back to your lord and tell him I will give him a discount of fifty percent, that should be affordable." Delata said as he tried to keep his anger from showing. The messenger informed the driver of the cart, and they began to leave. "That was great bargaining, Clannlord!" Mari shouted gleefully. "Go back to the camp, I want every man, woman, and child prepared for battle. The lord is to heavy-handed for his own good. If we won't give him the goods, he will just send his army and take them, all the while enslaving us to work like animals," Delata said ruefully "I will not allow this to happen, prepare everyone for battle, I have some business to attend to in the woods." "Yes, Clannlord," Elsa and Mari said obediently, "And what do you need in the woods?" "I have to get mount for the cavalry, our good friends the Adderbirds should suffice, now hurry up!" Delata ordered. Things are going to get very interesting, very fast Delata pondered.

Delata hurried into the woods, leaping over vines and brush until he came to the nesting grounds of the Adderbirds. "I humbly ask thy, noble Abberbirds, for thy assistance. I believe the lord of Reitera is planning to enslave my clan. Would you please lend my thine assistance in this affair?" Delata said as formally as possible. "Your clan has been honorable to us in the past, so we shall serve as thy clansmen's mounts," the elder bird replied. "Thank you most courteously," Delata told him. The birds headed out to the Ironrasp camp, but Delata's work was not quite done. He dashed back through the woods to the road nearest to his camp. The Clanlord took several small, orange crystals out of his pocket and buried them across the road. He then did the same thing to the other roads leading to the camp. His work having been finished, Delata returned to his camp and began preparing the seeds. having finished this, Delata waited in his tent with Mari and Elsa for the inevitable to happen.
Several hours later, when the beautiful sunset was fully in effect he heard the screams as his fire crystal traps went of, burning the lord's army. The Clanlord simply bellowed "Charge!" as loudly as he could. The clansmen charged, and he fought with them. Dragonslayer drawn, he threw himself into a group of Reiteran pikemen, killing them instantly and preparing the way for a cavalry charge. And charge they did, the lances crushed into the opponent's heavily armored shock troops, crippling their movement. Mari rushed through the crossbow men, her claymore gleaming wickedly as the sunset reflected of of it. Her fighting was as beautiful as it was deadly. Most of the crossbowmen fell helplessly to her terrible might. The few remaining attempted to regroup, but were cut short by a pincer attack from Delata, his Dragonslayer gleaming with electricity. He slashed through the defenseless arbalests and stood sadly amidst their corpses. He wished that the lord would have taken his offer. Elsa hurtled herself into the midst of the swordsmen's melee. Her longsword and katana danced gracefully as they severed limbs, heads, and anything else that the Reiteran fighters put in their way. The young sword girl pushed her way through the troops until she reached the commander. The commander was a giant of a man. He wore standard Reitera colors, and wielded a huge hammer. "What do you pathetic peons think you can do to the army of Captain Eid? You are all hopeless!" the leader bellowed as Elsa engaged him. "And what do you think you are doing," Elsa asked him, "Do you think killing us will accomplish anything? You are a fool!" The giant parried a quick strike Elsa threw at him, but as it was going Elsa was not going to win. "I didn't want to have to do this, but you forced me to," Eid said hysterically. The captain let out a roar of pure bloodlust, sending all those who heard it to their knees in pain. Elsa persevered. She slowly stepped toward the roaring beast. Locating his eyes, she held up her katana, and reflected light into his eyes, stopping the howl and distracting him. It seemed to Eid that she teleported right in front of him, but in truth Elsa just used the light as a distraction. Eid, however, would never figure this out for he was swiftly decapitated by Elsa. The girl let out a joyous cry of victory. The Reiteran soldiers, seeing their leader die, swiftly surrendered. "Tell your lord that he should have taken our offer," Delata said to the few remaining Reiteran forces, and he released them to tell the lord. "Rest well, my friends, for we have attained victory!" Delata shouted to the Ironrasp alchemist clan. The resulting cheer was deafening. Delata returned to his tent to count the losses.

Very good, no casualties, minimal fighters wounded Delata thought. He started working faster, determined to prepare his clan. The lord would attack again, and Delata knew it. It was only a matter of time till his clan was overrun. He needed to strike first. He looked over his map Reitera and evaluated possible targets. The first he saw was a large garrison just north of the clan's ground. A blow to there would greatly decrease future resistance. It was decided, that would be his first target. Delata got up and walked out of his tent, and stood before his entire clan.
"Today, we fought for our safety and won!" Delata shouted. A large cheer resounded from his clan members. "However, the king will not rest until we are his slaves!" he announced. A large boo burst forth from his audience. "However, I have decided as Clanlord, to take us to war! We will end this heavy-handed clod's reign of terror!" Delata exclaimed. This announcement was met with a thunder of cheers and applause.
It was not long before the entire camp was packed up and the Ironrasp were on the road to their target. Those to young or old to fight were in charge of the wagons hauling their camp and mending the wounded. all others, man or woman, were suited in violet armor bearing their weapons, and were ready for battle. The troop marched nrthward towards the garrison. "Clannlord, what do you intend to do, going to war like this?" Elsa questioned. "I had a vision, so to speak. Reitera will be embroiled in war," Delata told her, "Not this war, but one much worse, and this king is a pathetic ruler. If his reign goes on during the war I saw, not only will he have to fight the enemy, but he will also have to fight his own kingdom in the form of revolts." "Who exactly were these mysterious opponents?" Elsa asked. "From the vision, it looked like giants, but they blew fire out of something on their shoulder. The people fighting them were powerless to stop them. We can not allow this to happen," Delata replied. "But how can we stop it?" Elsa pestered. "If I take this kingdom, I can minimize the losses from a lack of revolts. We both know that Reitera is on the brink of war already. I believe I can turn that around. The more allies we have, the less we have to fight in the long run, but we should focus for now, we are approaching the garrison," Delata told her.
The garrison was in sight. It was a large, looming building surrounded by palisade walls. Delata barked out the command for the archers and arbalests to launch arrows with fire infused alchemical crystal attached at the walls. They did so with the exact results Delata had planned. All of the palisade was burning down. The archers then began launching wave after wave of arrows at the fort. Delata gave the command and the infantry followe him into the fray.
